After a national search, Stephanie Powell has been named Dogwood Alliance's next Director of Finance and Operations. Stephanie will serve on the senior leadership team and will oversee the financial and human resources strategy of the organization. In a full-circle homecoming, Stephanie returns to Dogwood after first participating in Dogwood's Staples campaign as a college student.
Stephanie joins Dogwood Alliance after leading Young Leadership Council, an organization which develops young professional leadership through community service.
Stephanie is passionate about movements that take on community and environmental issues. With almost 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience, Stephanie has worked at the local, regional, and national levels. Stephanie works to build thriving, durable organizations with deep impact.
Stephanie earned a BA in Anthropology and Political Science from the University of Georgia.
