Brandi Hoyos joined the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO) Senior Leadership Team on February, 21, 2022.
An accomplished strategic leader with more than 15 years of success leading DEI efforts, Brandi is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a master's degree from Lesley University. Brandi's passion for DE&I has led her to roles in the education sector, most recently serving as Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Marietta City Schools. Prior to joining Marietta City Schools, Brandi spearheaded DE&I progams and recruitment for Mount Vernon and Lovett Schools.
Brandi is a sought-after speaker and panelist and has prepared training for a variety of audiences, having presenting at the Alliance for Medica, Arts + Culture, co:CREATE Arts Innovation Conference, and the National Association of Independent Schools, among others. Brandi serves as a Trustee of the Atlanta Girls School, on the Board of Directors of Leadership Sandy Springs, and as a mentor for Regional Diversity Directors through the Southeast Association of Independent Schools. She was awarded the "Pioneer of the Year" award at Mount Vernon School and was named a "DEI Champion" by the National Diversity and Leadership Conference.
